Agreement in China
Successful Cooperation is born between Chinese universities and the University of Dunaújváros
Dr. Mónika Rajcsányi-Molnár, the Vice Rector of the University of Dunaújváros and Katalin Gyöngyössy, the Head of the International Relations Department of the university visited Guiyang, Guangzhou and Beijing, China between March 29th and Apr 9th.
The primary goal of the trip was to showcase the bachelor and master degree programs in English language of the university to the prospective Chinese students in order to increase the number of the participants. It was also a primary strategic goal of the negotiations to extend and to strengthen the existing relationships with several partner Chinese universities. Further meetings were attended by the university staff to establish new cooperation, create student, teacher and ’top up’ (2+2, 3+1) exchange programs.
They participated in 14 official engagements altogether in the following institutes:
Guizhou Minzu University,
Guizhou University of Finance and Economics,
Guizhou Light Industry Technical College
Guang Dong University of Finance and Economics
Renmin University of China
Beijing International Studies University.
Furthermore, they visited the Embassy of Hungary in Beijing in order to talk about the procedure of visa application.
As a result of the meetings, two institutes, Guizhou Light Industry Technical College and Beijing International Studies University entered into agreement with the university to build bilateral relationships. Further agreements with the other universities are in the process. In the following period the participants of the agreement will match the curriculums of the institutes and work out the details of the higher educational cooperation.
